A mature person will only say what he really feels and thinks, what he really needs to say. He will not speak simply to fill the air with the sound of his voice.
So it is with a mature artist - a painter for example. He will fill his canvas with what he really needs to express, which comes from his soul, feeling and thought. He will not just make it up. He will not use and waste lines, colors, shapes, etc. to just fill the canvas space.
His master is his soul. His leader is his conscience. His maturity makes him work honestly, following only the direction from his soul and his conscience. (ydb, 17feb2017)

Manusia yang matang hanya akan mengucapkan apa yang benar-benar dia rasakan dan pikirkan, apa yang benar-benar perlu untuk disampaikan. Dia tidak akan berkata-kata sekadar untuk memenuhi ruang udara dengan bunyi suaranya.
Begitu pula dengan peseni yang matang - pelukis misalnya. Dia akan mengisi kanvasnya secara total hanya dengan apa-apa yang memang perlu dia ekspresikan, yang bersumber dari jiwa, rasa dan pikirnya. Dia tidak akan mengada-ada. Dia tidak akan mengumbar garis, warna, bidang, dll. untuk sekadar memenuhi bidang kanvas.
Tuannya hanyalah jiwanya. Majikannya hanyalah suara hatinya. Kematangannya membuat dia berkarya dengan sejujurnya, hanya mengikuti arahan dari jiwa dan suara hatinya. (ydb, 17feb2017)
